This was a very interesting project. When we turned up our clients conservatory roof was being propped up with an acroprop in the centre of the room. The roof structure had completely collapsed and the original installation company was nowhere to be found.
This was an exceptionally dangerous project as any sudden movements might have caused the whole roof to crash to the floor and over the team of exceptionally skilled fitters. No one in our company had come across such a badly installed conservatory nor had worked on such a fragile structure. All credit to our team who did an amazing job in removing the glass roof and dismantling the old roof structure.
Once they were out of dangers way they then proceed with haste to install a new Supalite roof system, which over extended the old conservatory to give the client a unique pillared feature and outdoor lighting. The internal ceiling was plastered and painted and the latest low energy LED lights installed that were flush to the ceiling. We washed the floor down and replaced all the misted windows and broken handles.
This was a project all the staff at Contemporary Structures were proud to have completed and all credit goes to all the boys who worked on site from start to finish.
