To get the most out of your conservatory, orangery, garden room or sunroom, you need to be able to make use of it from January to December, and at any hour you wish. It should not become a ‘forbidden’ room whenever the weather turns inclement.
Integral blinds are permanently sealed within double-glazed units, allowing you to fully control the amount of light that enters your conservatory or orangery, and to reduce that amount of heat that is lost. The Venetian or pleated blinds are manufactured to the highest possible levels, and as they are sealed within the glazing cavity, they require no cleaning or maintenance and will always retain their initial good looks.
The question you may be asking yourself is this: If the blinds are completely sealed within the double glazing, how is it possible to operate them? The answer is via magnetic controls. The slats are raised, lowered and tilted using a rotational transmission through the glass. You can raise and lower your blinds using a continuous cord loop that drives an external magnet. The whole assembly is controlled via a simple slider control.
an internal motor is integrated within the blind head-rail which incorporates a micro-control unit plus encoder. This allows the simultaneous, synchronised control of each blind incorporated within the full scope of your glazing.
based on an ecological design from Italy, this is a motorised, battery-operated system controlled via a simple, discreet, push button control which is magnetically attached to the double-glazed unit. The system is powered by long-life rechargeable batteries, and can also be operated via a remote control.
If you do decide to go for the solar powered controls option, you will immediately experience the following benefits:
